The specifics of the pianist's concertmaster competencies in the process of working with soloists-vocalists

Abstract. The purpose of the study is to identify the main concertmaster competencies that ensure high quality and productivity of the pianist's collaboration with soloists–vocalists. The article raises the question of the typology of concertmaster competencies, examines the role of various competencies in the performance of the tandem "vocalist/pianist". Their specificity is considered by the example of the concertmaster's work on the Tchaikovsky romance "To Forget so Soon". The scientific novelty of the research lies in the systematization and differentiation of the content of competencies. As a result of the research, the boundaries of the following concertmaster competencies have been identified and defined: performing (highly professional), musical-theoretical, pedagogical, organizational, socio-psychological competencies. The prospects for the implementation of a competence-based approach in concertmaster activity are determined.
