Abstract. The article introduces author’s experience of purposeful pedagogical influence on first-year students’ adaptation to education at technical higher school (by the example of teaching the discipline "Algebra and Geometry"). The author describes the techniques to develop cognitive, motivational-volitional, and socio-communicative relations in the process of teaching Mathematics. The paper provides the examples of developing special communicative constructions.
