Abstract. The article provides the model of methodological support of educational activity, which is implemented in the work of Municipal Public Institution "Information and Methodological Center for the Development of Education" in Purovsk region of Yamal-Nenets autonomous district. The experience of this Center is generalized, and the possible development of the institution from the standpoint of the current state of the education system in the Russian Federation is simulated.
