PROBLEM OF DANCE ARTISTIC EXPRESSIVENESS IN CONCEPTIONS OF THE 20S OF THE XX CENTURY

Abstract. The article provides an analysis of domestic art conceptions of the beginning of the XX century regarding the problem of dance expressiveness. New principles of human corporality and plastique are justified. Post-revolutionary conceptions emphasize dialectic relation between body mechanics and its artistic expressiveness; researchers of this period identify two aspects of studying corporality (sociological and artistic ones) and establish requirements for expressive motion (meaningful and formal). The authors emphasize importance of conceptions of the beginning of the XX century for further development of the modern dance expressiveness theory.
