MUSIC AS A PHENOMENOLOGICAL METHOD TO UNDERSTAND INCOMPREHENSIBLE IN A. F. LOSEV’S WORKS

Abstract. The article examines A. F. Losev’s creative heritage in the light of his phenomenological analysis of musical art. The research is focused on his work "Music as a Subject of Logic", in which Losev’s philosophical views on music developed into a phenolmenological system. In A. Losev’s studies music comes out as a specific phenomenon, ideal substance, time penetrating into Cosmos, which enables it to understand incomprehensible and predetermines syncretic nature of the music phenomenon.
