SOCIAL THEORY AND ITS LOGIC AND PHILOSOPHICAL STRUCTURE

Abstract. The article studies the problem of the methodology of social cognition, in particular, whether the hypothetical-deductive structure of the theory is acceptable to the organization of the theoretical form of social knowledge. The author substantiates the thesis that social theories are formed and function in a special system of interrelations and interactions of perceptive subjects and the perceptible world. The methodology used in the study makes it possible to differentiate historical and socio-humanistic sciences according to the ways of organizing knowledge.
