CONCEPT "DEATH OF SUBJECT" IN MODERN CINEMATOGRAPHY (BY THE MATERIAL OF THE FILM "BERDMAN" (2014) BY A. G. I??RRITU)

Abstract. The theoretical aim of this article is to identify the conceptual basis of the film "Berdman" (2014). The authors suggest an image-notion "death of subject" for its designation and come to the conclusion that in the present conditions, in spite of the proclamation of complete freedom in art, the possibility of a personality’s self-expression is annulled. The practical result of this study is a discussion of a most important philosophical problem - the position of a creative person in the modern society, which is carried out with students on the basis of the film material.
