Abstract. The article examines social and pertaining to the humanities knowledge as a system-formative factor while creating an integral picture of the world in a student’s thinking and realizing oneself as an active subject of the society. The authors describe the most efficient means of transferring educational material taking into account the individual peculiarities of students. It is concluded that a correctly chosen methodology of teaching the disciplines of the social and pertaining to the humanities cycle will allow forming students’ systemic worldview.
