Abstract. The article analyzes the main tendencies of the convergence of the natural science and social and the humanities spheres of contemporary scientific rationality: renunciation from the methodology of inductivism and "na?ve realism", inclination to the constructivist paradigm in its various versions, the inclusion of the subject of cognition into the scientific theory ontology, the reconsideration of ideas about scientific knowledge objectivity. It is concluded that the microanalysis of both natural and social worlds leads to the ontology reformatting and is an efficient strategy of researching newly discovered formats of reality "grasping".
