Abstract. Contemporary art has lowered pathos of historical avant-garde on the world reconstruction and limited the field of its "direct action" to happenings, actions, performances, flash mobs, re-enactments, included researches and pedagogical projects. New art collectives, using the strategy of counter-publicity and forms of "constructive intervention", tend not to dissolve art in life, but on the contrary, make it an agent of social changes no longer mediated by art-institutional representation.
