SPECIFICS OF DEFINING ESSENCE OF ART IN GENETIC CONCEPTIONS OF THE XX CENTURY

Abstract. The article focuses on the inconsistency of the status of art in modern culture. On the basis of the author’s original idea on the fundamental role of the Element in the process of the development of super-complex systems, which include culture and its subsystems - art and the human being, the paper reconstructs the original spiritual meaning of the conception "instinct", deepens conceptions on the essence of genesis. The novelty of the author’s research theory consists in the scientific justification of the instinctive nature of art and initial spiritual and physiological human need for beauty and creativity.
