Abstract. In the article the problem of implicit knowledge is posed and detailed that is interpreted by the author as a problem of revealing the implicit elements of mathematical knowledge while justifying mathematical theories. The problem is conditioned by the lack of the rational gnoseological mechanisms of implementing this procedure, and also by the fact that not all implicit elements are generally subject to revealing. The researcher relies on the broad context of modern philosophy of mathematics, and also on her own previous works.
