ROLE OF THE RUSSIAN AND MOUNTAIN EDUCATORS IN DEVELOPMENT OF THE NORTH CAUCASUS WRITTEN CULTURE

Abstract. In the article on the basis of archival and documentary materials the role of the Russian and mountain educators in the development of the North Caucasus written culture is analyzed. The author considers how during their fruitful historic and linguistic activity in the Caucasus the Russian scientists began to study numerous languages ??and dialects of the mountaineers and to create alphabets for them on the basis of the Russian script. This promoted educational fundamentals among the Caucasians, and, as a consequence, the appearance of the pleiad of mountain thinkers, who took the path of their peoples’ education.
