SOCIAL INFLUENCE ON RELIGIOUS PERSONALITY IN CONDITIONS OF "INFORMATION WAR", GLOBALIZATION AND VIRTUALIZATION OF CULTURE SPACE

Abstract. The article is devoted to the analysis of the conceptions of social influence in religious associations in the conditions of the globalization and virtualization of the world. The author for the first time conducts a comparative analysis of the processes of manipulation in virtual space and new religious movements and proves that the modern processes of the propagation of religion are the natural continuation of the traditions of social influence on religious consciousness accepted in traditional societies that develops the theory of social influence and contemporary religiosity and enables a balanced approach to the evaluation of influence on religious consciousness.
