Abstract. The article examines the historical experience of organizing teaching and educational process at the parochial schools of Tobolsk province at the turn of the XIX-XX centuries. The analysis of education at parochial schools is conducted on the basis of studying legislative, normative and legal and methodical acts, archival data. The author explores the basic curriculums and methods for teaching and educating the pupils of Tobolsk province parochial schools.
