MYTH AS A MEANING-MAKING MODEL OF DESIGN-KNOWLEDGE

Abstract. The article examines myth as a significant ideal model adequately reflecting the essence of design-knowledge. In this connection the analysis of the meaning-making structures of myth and design is conducted, the isomorphism of their functioning principles is substantiated. The author focuses her attention on the didactic potentialities of myth in the poetics of design-knowledge and the necessity of its inclusion into the propaedeutic model of teaching the artistic-figurative language of design.
