Abstract. The article is devoted to the analysis of methods needed for the formation of musical-performing emotion in piano classes. Basing on the experience of leading music teachers the author describes the basic effective principles and methods of teaching process aimed at developing a pupil’s emotional sphere. The author also considers the features of musical-performing emotion (recurrence, renewability, randomness) and the forms of manifestation - "internal" and "external".
