HYPERREALITY OF VIDEO GAMES AS SUBJECT OF SOCIAL PHILOSOPHY STUDY

Abstract. In the article the authors reveal the issue of the hyperreality phenomenon of modern video games in the aspect of social philosophy. In particular the analysis of social constructionism and culturological conception homo ludens by J. Huizinga is carried out; the correlation of such fundamentals of game behaviour as agon, alea, mimicry and ilinx is considered. Special attention is paid to the problem of experience collision with artificially constructed pseudo reality, which is one of the factors of the deepening of the legitimation crisis of social institutions in modern post-industrial society.
