FORMATION OF V. V. ROZANOV’S VIEWS ON QUESTIONS OF EDUCATION PHILOSOPHY

Abstract. The article studies how the experience of V. V. Rozanov’s tenure as a teacher of history and geography in Bryansk men’s and women’s progymnasia in 1882-1887 was reflected in his later works devoted to the philosophical problems of education and upbringing, the philosophical understanding of the Russian school fate, and – more comprehensively – the fates of the Russian and European cultures of the early modern period. The analysis of the reasons of national education crisis undertaken by V. V. Rozanov and the principles of the new Russian school construction proposed by the philosopher are considered.
