BASIC CONCEPTIONS OF CIVIL SOCIETY: METHODOLOGICAL ASPECT

Abstract. The author reveals conceptual approach to the study of the notion civil society, shows the necessity to consider state position in relation to spiritual power: state can be controlled by spiritual power, can control spiritual power or can be in harmony with spiritual power; mentions that in each case state has its own specific features, which form a certain type of civil society, and substantiates the meaning of the notion civil society in terms of major methodological traditions.
