FROM DRAMATURGY TO CONCEPTION: S. PROKOF'EV IN G. ANSIMOV'S INTERPRETATION

Abstract. The author discusses the question of choral scenes creation in G. Ansimov's performances, considers a number of directing techniques in the musical theatre of the ХХth century by the example of S. Prokof'ev's dramaturgy, presents the scenes analysis from the operas War and Peace, Gambler, Love for Three Oranges, Fiery Angel, Story of Real Man, Semen Kotko, conducts the comparison, reveals the required connections between performance conception and a composer's primary source dramaturgy, and shows that the topic is still relevant in today's theatre, where direction role and desire to fill opera with new content are steadily increasing.
