Abstract. The article reveals the philosophical and andragogical approach to the solution of the problem of the actualization of the creative potential of technical higher education institutions students as the purposeful, phased interaction, as the dynamic, constantly changing process when the mechanisms of the development of creativity - the internal source of a person's creative potential - are realized under the influence of andragogy means.
