Rendering as Basic Cognitive Mechanism to Form Students’ Professional Linguo-Communicative Competence

Abstract. The article justifies efficiency of rendering as the basic technique to form students’ professional linguo-communicative competence. The paper examines the cognitive mechanism of a verbal statement formation and proposes methodology of working with an educational text as a transitional stage to rendering a text or dialogue on the basis of the associative map technology, which constitutes scientific originality of the study. The research findings can be successfully applied when teaching foreign language to pedagogical students.
