BIBLICAL INTERTEXT IN THE NOVEL "HUMAN MOURNING" ("EL LUTO HUMANO") BY JOS? REVUELTAS

Abstract. The article is devoted to the study of the functioning features of biblical intertext in a fiction text. The study is based on the material of the novel "Human Mourning" by the Mexican writer Jos? Revueltas. The general characteristic of the novel is given highlighting the main linguo-stylistic means used by the writer. The authors identify the main parameters of the biblical motive complex representation consisting both in direct citation and allusions that are syncretic. Particular attention is paid to intertextual elements appealing to the motive of sufferings on the cross and the Eucharist.
