PECULIARITIES OF USING THE INFINITIVE IN ON-LINE BANKING INSTRUCTIONS (BY THE MATERIAL OF THE ENGLISH AND RUSSIAN LANGUAGES)

Abstract. By the material of banking instructions the article analyses the peculiarities of using the infinitive taking into account the specificity of its morphological forms and syntactic functions. Approaching the problem of the part-of-speech affiliation of the infinitive form the author considers its verbal and nominal characteristics. Analysing the specificity of this uncommon linguistic phenomenon the researcher discovers the peculiarities of using the infinitive, identifies the similarities and differences of its usage in the English and Russian on-line banking instructions.
