40 YEARS OF PSYCHOLINGUISTIC RESEARCH OF THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE IN CHINA: MAIN STAGES AND DEVELOPMENT PROSPECTS

Abstract. The article is devoted to the general characteristics of the formation and current state of Russian psycholinguistics in China. The main attention is paid to the stages and development prospects of this scientific direction in China. The study is based on the results of the analysis of 103 articles on Russian psycholinguistics written in Chinese and published in the Chinese scientific journals over the past 40 years (1978-2018). The author states that in China only a few scientists are engaged in the issues related to Russian psycholinguistics. However, after 40 years from the moment of its appearance, this scientific trend in the People’s Republic of China has achieved significant positive results. Its history can be divided into four main stages, each of which is characterized by specific content. Today, we are actively conducting our own experimental studies. Harbin School of Russian Psycholinguistics is developing successfully. The paper offers practical recommendations contributing to the development of this linguistic field.
