MODELING METHOD IN TEACHING WRITTEN REASONING IN A FOREIGN LANGUAGE AT THE STAGE OF GENERAL SECONDARY EDUCATION

Abstract. The article reveals the functions of the modeling method in educational and cognitive activity and specifies the ways of their implementation while performing an assignment to create written reasoning in a foreign language at the stage of general secondary education. The author analyzes modeling as a regulatory and cognitive learning action to fulfill a learning assignment and the formation of meta-subject and subject notions including the essential and non-essential properties of objects; the format of written reasoning as a model of creative learning assignment and the difficulties of students arising in the performance of cognitive and regulatory learning actions during the implementation of this model.
