SPECIFICITY OF ARGUMENTATIVE STRUCTURE IN THE TEXT TYPE "ANALYTICAL ARTICLE"

Abstract. The author examines the argumentative structure in the text type "analytical article" from the viewpoint of communicative pragmatic linguistics. The paper considers the basic types of argumentation: argument, suggestion and persuasion. The researcher differentiates the notions "manipulation", "interpretation" and "persuasion", identifies the basic factors influencing the argumentative potential of an analytical article, analyzes the argumentative structure of the German analytical article, and shows clearly the functioning of its complicated hierarchical structure.
