ON THE PROBLEM OF CLASSIFICATION OF BUSINESS LETTERS GENRES IN THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article is devoted to the problem of classification of business correspondence genres in the Russian language. The author analyzes various classifications of business letter genres. The conclusion is made about the need to adapt and simplify classifications of business correspondence genres in order to teach the Russian language to a foreign audience. A simplified scheme for classifying business letter genres is proposed, which is more adapted for foreign students of non-philological specialties. This classification is represented by three types.
