PRAGMATICS OF APHORISM IN COORDINATES OF FICTION TEXT PRECEDENCE

Abstract. The article deals with the aphorism in the sphere of fiction text precedence implementation. Quotations with marked authorship and the lack of attribution are studied in detail in view of the most significant pragmatic and linguocultural potential of this type of precedent aphorisms. It is ascertained that the purpose of using the aphorism is to increase the expressiveness of a literary statement and to activate the addressee’s linguocultural associations, meanwhile the high degree of pragmatic impact is directly proportional to the presence of the necessary amount of the reader’s background knowledge.
