CONSUBSTANTIONALITY AS ONE OF THE BASIC ELEMENTS OF GENERAL LINGUISTIC CULTURE DEVELOPMENT

Abstract. This article considers the phenomenon of consubstantionality of words, which is inextricably linked with the prototerminological stage of the development of any branch of knowledge. The author of the article studies the intralinguistic and extralinguistic factors that influenced the appearance and development of consubstantionality; highlights such factors as calquing, historical development of the semantic system, borrowing, metonymic transfer, determinologization, reterminologization, etc.
