LINGUO-CULTURAL PECULIARITIES OF LEXICAL STRUCTURE OF THE CUBAN NATIONAL VARIANT OF SPANISH

Abstract. The article examines the basic peculiarities of culture specific vocabulary of the Cuban national variant of Spanish. The authors analyze the specificity of developing lexical originality of the mentioned national variant, including the problems of lexical borrowing, productive word-formative models. The interaction of elements within culturally valuable lexico-semantic groups is also under analysis.
