Abstract. The article summarizes the experience of organization of occupational guidance activities at Technological Institute of Service (Branch) of Don State Technical University for 2015-2016 academic year. The main mechanisms of occupational guidance work are described, the tasks for its optimization are grounded, and the methodology of the interactive technologies of vocational guidance being realized is revealed. Quantitative and qualitative indicators of the survey of the participants of the events have made it possible to evaluate their efficiency, to coordinate the occupational guidance work and to increase the number of potential entrants of a higher education establishment.
