THE OLD BELIEVERS OF THE AMUR REGION: HISTORY AND PECULIARITIES OF LANGUAGE EXISTENCE

Abstract. The article deals with the Russian dialects of the Old Believers of Amur region, which were formed in the conditions of the foreign dialectal and foreign language environment and were influenced by the Polish, Belorussian, Mongolian-Buryat, Chinese and Spanish languages. There are four groups of dialects: 1) those which preserved the features of the South Russian mother dialects at all language levels and have "traces" of the Polish and Belorussian influence; 2) those which preserved the singular features of the mother dialects of the South Russian origin, but have a predominantly Northern Russian lexical system; 3) those which are characterized by a heterogeneous composition and experienced the Belorussian influence already on the territory of Amur region; 4) those which refer to the Central Russian "a-pronouncing" dialects, experienced the influence of Chinese and Spanish outside the metropolis.
