TYPOLOGICAL PECULIARITIES OF REVERSE ANTONYMS FORMATION IN THE ENGLISH AND TATAR LANGUAGES

Abstract. This article is devoted to a typological description of the formation of a type of vector antonyms - reverse antonyms. In the course of the study the distinctive features of the classification of antonyms by the nature of the opposites in languages of different structure are distinguished. Thematic groups are singled out among reverse antonyms on the basis of the English and Tatar languages, namely, the change in the direction of action, return to the initial state, emotional and intellectual changes, changes in the relationship of people in the society, changes in nature, etc. The paper shows the structural features of reverse antonyms formation in these languages.
