Abstract. The acoustic side of B. Pasternak’s works is considered in the article. Particular attention is paid to the principles of the interaction between the sounds of nature and the surrounding world with the sound of the human voice in all its diversity. It is noted that an important characteristic of Pasternak’s creative work is its multi-level nature, the combination of different sound layers (both butt and lap). The paper also examines signs, which can be decoded only by the people who are versed in music, according to the author.
