THE METHODS OF EXPRESSION AND FUNCTIONING OF MEANS OF SPEECH ETIQUETTE BY THE MATERIAL OF THE FICTION OF THE XIX CENTURY

Abstract. The article is devoted to the comparative analysis of the means of speech etiquette in the Russian and English languages. The works of fiction of the XIX century are analyzed since the classics of that period made a significant contribution to the enrichment of the Russian and English literary languages. It is fiction that represents the development of the trend towards the use of the speech etiquette means in the compared languages.
