THE POSITION OF THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA IN INFORMATION WAR AGAINST RUSSIA (BY THE MATERIAL OF NEWS MASS MEDIA TEXTS)

Abstract. The article attempts to determine the position of the Republic of Korea in the information war conducted by the United States and Western countries against Russia. Basing on the study of the news texts of South Korea, related to the foreign policy activity of the Russian Federation, the author states that the Republic of Korea does not directly participate in the information war against Russia, and the revealed components of the media image of President Vladimir Putin testify to the creation of a positive image of the country in the recipient’s mind.
