THE MOTIF OF PERFORMATIVE WORD IN ARSENY TARKOVSKY’S POETRY

Abstract. The purpose of the article is to identify the specificity of the realization of the performative Word motif in Tarkovsky’s poetry and to substantiate its gnostic prerequisites. The research has made it possible to ascertain that the motif of the logos, performative Word in the works of Tarkovsky is associated with the partial nature of gnostic contemplation (we know in part and partly prophesy, according to the word of the apostle Paul) and the incompleteness of the symbol in which the supernatural-historical aspect of formation is revealed. Tarkovsky’s Word finds out a connection with the philosopheme of logos of late antiquity, which is involved in the world of knowledge and the real world and turns chaos into the harmoniously arranged cosmos. The analysis of Tarkovsky’s poetics allowed confirming the assumption that the motif of the performative Word is at the very core of his (Tarkovsky’s) creative individuality and it is an element of an integrated (close) system (network) of intersecting and interpenetrating metaphysically related motifs.
