Later on, taking this dastan as a basis, Akhmet Kurmashi created the poem "Takhir and Zukhra" (the second half of the XIX century, Tatarstan) which became popular among the Tatars. The poem depicts the immortal love, the tragic death of two lovers - Takhir and Zukhra.
