THE FUNCTIONING OF IDENTIFICATION NAMES IN THE PROFESSIONAL SPHERE IN THE MODERN GERMAN LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article examines the involvement of borrowed Anglo-Americanisms into the sphere of identification names, in particular, profession names in the modern German language, and identifies the motives for their use. The paper analyzes the process of adopting Anglo-American lexical units, the transformations of borrowed words in the process of linguo-cultural adaptation based on the historical and cultural foundations.
