VERBALIZATION OF THE CONCEPT "BEAUTY" IN THE ENGLISH AND ADYGHE LINGUISTIC WORLDVIEWS

Abstract. The article is devoted to the study of national-cultural specificity of the ways the concept "beauty" is verbalized in the English and Adyghe linguistic worldviews. Being a linguocultural universal the concept "beauty" is present in any nation’s linguistic consciousness. The research proves that the main subject of aesthetic evaluation is a woman; one’s perception of beauty is based on a harmonious correlation of the outer and inner beauty, while the beauty conceptions of the speakers in these languages are closely related to ethic norms and principles.
