THE POOR AS A NEW TYPE OF PERSON IN "THE BOOK OF HOURS" BY R. M. RILKE

Abstract. The article provides a comprehensive analysis and interpretation of the poetical concept "Poverty" in the cycle "The Book of Hours" by R. M. Rilke. The author introduces hermeneutic and linguistic method to study the poetical concept taking into account the processes of dispersion and crystallization of meaning. The paper focuses on the interpretation of the concept under study. Together with the level of meaning the researcher explores the semantic level of a concept. Poetical meanings form the different meaning of a concept on the basis of the generally adopted meaning. The paper analyzes the lexical and semantic structure of a concept, identifies the relations with other concepts of a cycle.
