VERBAL AND ICONIC MESSAGES: WAYS TO REALIZE EMOTIVENESS

Abstract. The article examines the ways to realize emotiveness, one of the basic conditions for the formation and perception of a text in the verbal and iconic messages - caricatures. By the example of everyday caricatures acquired from English sites by the continuous sampling method the authors analyze their most typical linguistic comic techniques and devices.
