INTERJECTIONS AS A MEANS OF EMOTIVE COMPETENCE FORMATION IN THE PROCESS OF TEACHING A FOREIGN LANGUAGE: THE PROBLEM SETTING

Abstract. The article discusses correlation of the terms "emotive competence" and "emotional competence". The author outlines the main directions of forming emotive competence in the process of teaching a foreign language, and substantiates the necessity of mastering foreign-language interjections ensuring authenticity and success of speech communication in a foreign language.
