DIFFICULTIES THAT ARAB STUDENTS FACE WHILE STUDYING THE CASE SYSTEM OF THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article discusses the problems encountered by Arab students while studying and assimilating the case system of the Russian language. The comparative characteristic of structures of the Russian and Arabic languages, including prepositional-case systems, is presented. The frequent errors of Arab students and the causes that provoke improper use of the case forms of nouns of the Russian language are analyzed. The ways to overcome these errors among students in the learning process are suggested.
