IDENTIFYING THE "FOURTH GRAIL CONTINUATION" AUTHORSHIP

Abstract. The article focuses on the problem of "Fourth (Gerbert’s) Grail Continuation" authorship. The researcher checks the attribution hypotheses developed on the basis of the available historical data concerning the alleged authors of this literary work. The paper describes two approaches to author’s texts parameterization: on the basis of the Old French rhythm parameters and description parameters, applying the machine learning mathematical methods, cluster analysis and image identification theory to parametrized texts.
