IMAGE OF RUSSIA IN POETRY OF THE GERMAN EXPRESSIONISTS: IMAGOLOGICAL ASPECT

Abstract. The article examines the lyrics of the German expressionism and its influence on the development of the image of Russia in the German-language culture at the beginning of the XX century. The problem is studied from the standpoint of imagology as a section of philological comparative studies, the subject of the research of which is the image of another country, another nation in the social, cultural and literary awareness of this or that country. For comparison poetic texts by the poets-expressionists Georg Heym, Karl Otten and Gottfried Benn, and also the poets of other trends - Hoffmann von Fallersleben and Arno Holz - are used.
