Abstract. The article considers the traditional and improvisational forms of the composition of an oral tale during World War II, and analyzes oral folk tales with different compositional structure: linear, inverse, mirror. The effective techniques and methods of the literary representation of reality are revealed. The conditionality of oral folk tale composition by the features of its content is shown.
