PROCEEDINGS OF THE PRIVATE COMMITTEE AS A LINGUO-STYLISTIC PHENOMENON

Abstract. The basic content of the research is the analysis of the proceedings of the Private Committee - informal advisory body which functioned under Alexander I. The paper has an interdisciplinary character, it is written at the intersection of history and philology because the reports executed in the French language are of interest not only as a historical source but also as a linguistic phenomenon. The author for the first time tries to identify the reasons which allow considering the proceedings of the Committee as a document text - minutes, and also reveal their linguistic and stylistic peculiarities.
